How to Play

Objective
The object of the game is for a player to move all of their pieces into their own home board and then bear them off. The first player to bear off all of their checkers wins the game.

Game Play
The game begins with each player rolling a die. The higher die takes the first turn. If the dice come up equal, they are rerolled. The player throwing the high die then moves their pieces based on the two dice showing. Every turn from this point on is done by throwing two dice and alternating turns.

Scoring
A match is played for an agreed upon number of points. Each game begins being worth one point. At the beginning of a player's turn, before they roll the dice, the player can offer a double. This doubles the amount of points that the particular game is worth. The opposing player then has the option of accepting the double or refusing it. If the opposing player refuses, then they concede and the game is awarded to the doubling player for the undoubled number of points. If the double is accepted, the stakes of the game are doubled and the doubling cube is said to be passed to the opposing player. The opposing player is the only player that can redouble at this point.

OK	Advances from screen to screen.
CLR	Returns to Main Menu and exits game.
